To get to the output menu, open the equation menu by pressing the blue "+" icon and then select the third option, "output". The output page, shown in the image below, currently has seven types of outputs for the Device: Move, Glow, Power, Sound, Keyboard, Cloud, and Beacon.
Move - The Move output controls a servo motor between 0 and 180 degrees and has one property: its position. See more information on the move module.
Glow - The Glow module controls an array of 6 LEDs. Glow has two properties: color and brightness. See more information on the glow module.
Power - The Power module allows you to control a relay, turning power on or off to an electronic device / outlet. This module can be used to control anything from pumps to fans to smart outlets – any device with power on/off modes.
Sound - The sound output currently controls the tone module, which outputs a tone at a set frequency. See more information on the tone module.
Keyboard - The keyboard output is the most complex of the outputs currently available. The output allows the Device to output keycodes such as play / pause, volume up / down, next / previous song, copy / paste, etc. However, it must be noted that for the Device to act as a keyboard, it must enter a different Bluetooth mode, which we call keyboard mode.
Cloud - The cloud output allows you to connect with a cloud database, and has three properties: update, notify, and store. "Update" replaces the latest value in the database, "notify" sends you a mobile notification, and "store" logs the data with a timestamp. Cloud outputs only work if your device is connected to the internet, so when casting to a cloud output, you will be asked to input a WiFi network name and password. Like keyboard mode, cloud mode also requires a reset port to be set on casting as well. See more information on cloud mode.
Beacon - The beacon output has one option - "Sweep," which means that the device will perform a scan for nearby IF Magic beacons and record their bluetooth signal strengths. See more information on beacon mode.
