Wired

If you are using a wired connection, you must make sure you have downloaded the driver. To do so, download the package for your system (under Downloads) and follow the install wizard from .

Next, open the Device Manager on your computer.

Find Ports (COM & LPT) and find the number after Silicon Labs CPP210x USB to UART Bridge. In the image below it is the number 3. It usually will default to 3.

Enter this number into Port Number under Nexus>Dimension.

Wireless

If you are using a wireless connection, first open Bluetooth and other device settings.

Click Add Bluetooth or other device.

Click Bluetooth.

Find and click Device under Add a Device. If you rename the device it will appear with that name.

Under Ports (COM & LPT) under Device Manager find the number after the first Standard Serial over Bluetooth link. In the image below it is the number 4. It usually will default to 4. If you need to find Device Manager see instructions under Wired.

Enter this number and check the Wireless box under Nexus>Dimension.
