Renaming the Device

The first time you scan for the Device, it will appear under the standard name "Device." However, if you have multiple Devices in the vicinity, it can be difficult to distinguish between them. For that reason, it can be useful to rename your Device to something specific. Here's how to do that:
In order to rename your Device, press the concentric squares in the bottom left corner of the Device page to access the Device information page, as shown in image I. The Device information page, shown in image II, has 3 elements - from top to bottom: the Device name in big white text ("Device" by default), the Device's embedded code version (in gray or red if it is out of date), and the Device ID in gray. If you see a smaller card, like the one shown in image II on this page, follow the instructions there to add the Device to your account, and then continue back here.
In order to rename the Device, tap on the Device name, delete the existing one, and type in the new name for the Device, as shown in figure III. Note that this name change will only take effect if the Device is added to your account.
