Broadcast

To access the beacon broadcast view, tap on the “infinity symbol” in the bottom right hand corner of the home screen.

There are two modes for broadcasting: auto and manual. Auto mode will generate a unique ID to be broadcast. Each time you start broadcasting this ID will change. In manual mode you enter an ID to be broadcast. This ID needs to be between five and twelve numbers. To switch between modes swipe either left or right.

Broadcasting will not start unless you enable it. To do so, tap on the lock symbol. This will start broadcasting your “Beacon ID”. Any scanner will pick up this ID. To stop broadcasting tap the lock symbol.

Switching modes or closing the beacon broadcast view will turn off broadcasting until you start it again. Broadcasting will only happen when the app is open.

Equations

To enable hardware to scan for beacons go under Outputs and choose “Beacon” and tap “add output.” This will add a beacon sweep to your equation.
